Places
Save named locations so Chalie can use them in directions, scheduling, and local searches.
Remember where you are
Chalie can save named places — home, work, gym, a favourite café — so it can use them when answering questions about directions, weather, local search, and scheduling without you having to spell out an address every time.

Getting started:
- “Save this as my home location.”
- “Remember this place as ‘the office’.”
- “What locations have I saved?”
Saving a place
Save your current location with a name:
- “Save this as home.”
- “Remember where I am as ‘work’.”
- “Add this location as ‘the gym’.”
Chalie captures your GPS coordinates at the moment of saving. The place is stored with the name you give it and a small radius for proximity matching.
Using saved places
Once a place is saved, you can refer to it by name in other requests:
- “What’s the weather at home?”
- “Remind me when I get near the office.”
- “How far am I from home?”
Viewing your saved places
See what you’ve stored:
- “What places have I saved?”
- “Where is work?”
- “Show me my saved locations.”
Deleting a place
Remove a location you no longer need:
- “Delete my saved gym location.”
- “Forget the place I called ‘the cabin’.”
How it works
Places require location access on your device. When you save a place, Chalie records your current latitude and longitude. If you later save the same place name from a significantly different location, Chalie updates it automatically.
