Procedure

When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:

  1. Use the memory tool to recall any stored dietary preferences, allergies, restrictions, or cooking skill level.
  2. Ask the user for the number of people eating, meals per day, budget constraints, and any cuisine preferences for the week.
  3. Use the search tool to find seasonal ingredients and recipe ideas matching the user’s constraints and preferences.
  4. Build a 7-day meal plan balancing nutrition, variety, and prep time. Reuse ingredients across meals to minimise waste.
  5. Use the list tool to create a shopping list grouped by store section — produce, dairy, protein, pantry, frozen.
  6. Use the schedule tool to set prep reminders for meals that need advance preparation (marinades, slow cooks, dough rising).
  7. Use the document tool to save the meal plan as a persistent weekly reference.
  8. Present the plan to the user day-by-day with estimated prep times and any make-ahead notes.
