Procedure
When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:
- Use the
memorytool to recall any stored dietary preferences, allergies, restrictions, or cooking skill level. - Ask the user for the number of people eating, meals per day, budget constraints, and any cuisine preferences for the week.
- Use the
searchtool to find seasonal ingredients and recipe ideas matching the user’s constraints and preferences. - Build a 7-day meal plan balancing nutrition, variety, and prep time. Reuse ingredients across meals to minimise waste.
- Use the
listtool to create a shopping list grouped by store section — produce, dairy, protein, pantry, frozen. - Use the
scheduletool to set prep reminders for meals that need advance preparation (marinades, slow cooks, dough rising). - Use the
documenttool to save the meal plan as a persistent weekly reference. - Present the plan to the user day-by-day with estimated prep times and any make-ahead notes.
