Drafting internal communications including 3P updates, company newsletters, status reports, and leadership updates.
Procedure
When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:
- Use
memoryto recall the team’s recent work, shipped items, and any prior update format preferences. - Use
memoryto recall any stored format preferences, then identify the communication type from the user’s request: 3P update (Progress/Plans/Problems), newsletter, FAQ roundup, or general status report. - Use
calendarto check the current week’s events and completed milestones that should be referenced in the update. - Use
memoryto gather any stored accomplishments or blockers, then ask the user to confirm or add: key accomplishments, plans for next period, blockers or problems, and any items to include or exclude. - Use
documentto draft the communication using the appropriate structure — for 3P: Progress (shipped, completed), Plans (next period goals), Problems (blockers needing help); for newsletters: headline, team updates, metrics, and next steps. - Use
documentto write in active voice using “we” — lead with the most important information, include metrics and specifics where available, and keep it scannable. - Present the draft from
documentto the user for review and refine based on feedback. - Use
emailto send the approved update, or usedocumentto save it for distribution through another channel.
