What it does

Draft social media posts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, or newsletter blurbs) for a product, announcement, or idea.

Procedure

When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:

  1. Use memory to recall any existing brand guidelines, past post styles, or audience preferences before gathering requirements.
  2. Ask which platform(s) the post is for, what it should announce or promote, who the target audience is, and what tone to use — then log requirements in document.
  3. Use search to find 2–3 recent high-performing posts on the same topic or from similar accounts to calibrate format and hooks.
  4. Use document to draft 3 variations of the post for the primary platform — each with a different hook style (question, bold claim, story opener) and a clear call to action.
  5. For Twitter/X, update document to ensure each draft fits character limits and include a thread continuation if the message needs more space.
  6. For LinkedIn, use document to structure the best draft with a hook line, body with line breaks, and a closing question or CTA to drive comments.
  7. Present all drafts from document with a brief note on which hook approach each uses, then ask the user to pick one or combine elements.
  8. Save the finalized post and any platform-specific variants to document for future reference or scheduling.
