Product Audit

Run a structured UX, messaging, or information-architecture audit on a product website or app.

What it does

Run a structured UX, messaging, or information-architecture audit on a product website or app.

Procedure

When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:

  1. Use memory to recall any prior audit context, then ask the user for the product URL and audit scope: messaging clarity, UX flow, information architecture, conversion copy, or a full review.
  2. Use read to extract the homepage and 2–3 key landing pages, noting headlines, CTAs, navigation structure, and key value propositions.
  3. If read returns incomplete content (JS-heavy pages), use browser to render and extract the full page content.
  4. Use memory to recall any prior product context, positioning, or ICP notes that should inform the evaluation.
  5. Use search to benchmark the product’s positioning and messaging against 2–3 direct competitors’ homepages.
  6. Use memory to evaluate each in-scope dimension against best practices: clarity of the core value proposition, evidence of user benefit (vs. features), navigation findability, and CTA prominence.
  7. Use document to produce a structured audit report: one section per dimension with a score (1–5), what works, what is broken or unclear, and a specific recommended fix with an example.
  8. Use document to save the full audit report with prioritised recommendations ranked by expected impact.
