Inbox Triage

Process and organize recent emails — classify them, surface action items, and draft replies without sending.

What it does

Process and organize recent emails — classify them, surface action items, and draft replies without sending.

Procedure

When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:

  1. Ask how far back to look (default: since yesterday) and whether to skip any categories; use memory to recall any triage preferences or filters.
  2. Use the email tool to retrieve unread emails from the specified window.
  3. Use document to classify each email into: Action Required, Active Conversation, Opportunity/Decision, Financial, or Low Priority / Informational.
  4. For unknown senders on important emails, use the search tool to verify company legitimacy or context.
  5. For each Action Required or Active Conversation email, draft a reply using the user’s preferred tone stored in memory — never send, only draft.
  6. Identify overdue follow-ups by cross-referencing memory for any tracked threads.
  7. Use the schedule tool to create reminders for any emails with upcoming deadlines.
  8. Use document to present a triage report: overview, action-needed items with draft previews, and quick-reference list of all emails processed.
