Daily Planner

Organise today's tasks, schedule time blocks, surface calendar conflicts, and set focus priorities for the day.

What it does

Organise today’s tasks, schedule time blocks, surface calendar conflicts, and set focus priorities for the day.

Procedure

When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:

  1. Use calendar to pull today’s events and any fixed commitments — note their times and durations.
  2. Use memory to recall any running priorities, active projects, or tasks the user was working on recently.
  3. Use list to check active to-do items for anything due today, then ask the user if there is anything new to add or any tasks they must complete today.
  4. Use calendar to identify conflicts or tight windows and flag them.
  5. Use list to pull any active to-do items and sort them by: urgency (deadline today), importance (impact), and effort (quick wins first).
  6. Use document to build a time-blocked day plan: slot calendar events first, then assign tasks to remaining blocks — keep at least one buffer block for reactive work.
  7. Present the day plan from document with time blocks, assigned tasks, and the single top-priority item highlighted — ask the user to confirm or adjust.
  8. Use schedule to create reminders for any time-sensitive tasks or deadlines, and use timer if the user wants a focus session started immediately.
