Procedure
When this skill is activated, Chalie follows these steps:
- Use
memoryto recall any standard terms, rate cards, or client preferences stored from prior sessions before gathering requirements. - Ask what document type is needed, the jurisdiction, engagement type (fixed-price, hourly, or retainer), party details, contract value, dates, and any special requirements — then record in
document. - Use
searchto verify jurisdiction-specific legal standards or required clause structures (e.g. GDPR DPA for EU, BGB considerations for Germany) if any are uncertain. - Use
documentto draft the complete contract in structured markdown with all required clauses: services, payment terms, IP ownership, confidentiality, warranties, liability cap, termination conditions, and dispute resolution. - In
document, flag any missing information as REQUIRED with a placeholder, and annotate jurisdiction-specific notes inline. - Use
searchto cross-check any clause wording against current jurisdiction guidance if the engagement is high-value or cross-border. - Present the draft from
documentfor review and refine based on the user’s feedback. - Save the finalised contract using
documentand remind the user to review with an attorney for high-value engagements.
